New Book-In Request Fee and Book-In Storage Fees For TNT and FedEx Shipments

Important Announcement: New Book-In Request Fee and Book-In Storage Fees For TNT and FedEx Shipments Effective June 4, 2023

Ensuring timely delivery and providing an exceptional customer experience are our top priorities. 

However, we have observed that certain customers need delivery to be postponed beyond the standard transit time. This flexibility allows them to effectively manage their supply chain and meet their customers’ expectations.

While the book-in request is a valuable service, this entails effort, resources, and expenses.

Furthermore, these requests may require secure storage for an extended period, along with additional preparations and re-processing of the shipment to accommodate the requested deferred delivery date.

To account for these extra expenses, FedEx is implementing two new fees for customers utilizing the book-in service: a Book-in request fee and a Book-in storage fee. 

These fees will be applicable to domestic shipments (per consignment note):

*Day 1 refers to the next business day after we receive the shipment at the designated TNT/FedEx station.

These fees will apply to shipments sent on the following TNT Express Domestic Services:

• Road Express (76)
• Overnight Express (75,73)
• 9:00 Express (712)
• 10:00 Express (EX10)
• 12:00 Express (EX12)
• Technology Express (717,717B, 717C)
• Fashion Express (718)
• Time Critica Next Flight - Sameday Nationwide (701)
• Dedicated Networks (717I, 717T, 717X, 718T, 76T, DNE)
