What time is cut off for booking an exclusive hire service?

  • Exclusive hire is a dedicated vehicle that works as directed with a min 4 hours.  
  • You can book a vehicle for same day or next day. However the more time you can provide the better.

Can I book a tail lift service?

Yes. Keep in mind that there are maximum weight s and dimensions a tail lift can handle. Here are some important things to consider when booking a tail lift service.

  • The min vehicle size for a tail lift is a 4 tonne.
  • Trucks with a tuck away tail lift can only take up to 500kgs and 1.2x2.0mx 2.0m
  • Trucks with a full tail lift (usually found on 8T and above trucks) 2.4m x 2.0 x 2.0m
  • Semi-trailers with tail lift are not a normal vehicle you can book.

Can the driver call the pickup or delivery address?

Some carriers can other will not. Keep in mind there are charges for the driver using their mobile phone.

What about loading and unloading?

  • As these drivers are working exclusively for you they will pick up and deliver everything they are given as part of three service. If it's safe and they have the available time on the road still available.
  • If a driver must use a toll to deliver your freight these will be passed on.

Can I get a driver to do a milk run or multi drop?

Yes, multi drop and milk runs are an efficient way to have your deliveries completed in a fast efficient way. If the run is condensed a run driver can do between 10 - 15 drops per hour.

What time is cut off for booking an exclusive hire service?

1. The cost of shipping a full container will depend on:

     a. What country is the shipment going to and from?  

    b. Where the container is getting picked up from or delivered?

    c. The shipping terms or intercoms.

    d. The time of the year the freight is shipped.

    e.  Availability and space on the shipping vessel.

    f. Is the container picked up or delivered on a standard skel trailer or does a side load required?

    g. Will my shipment fit on a plan or does it need to be driven?

  • Under chain of responsibility as the shipper you are the first link in the chain. If you miss declare your goods and someone is injured or killed ultimately you could be prosecuted.

  • VIP:  2:00 to 3:00PM
  • Express: 3:00 to 4:00PM
  • Direct:  5:00pm

Should be booked the day before to guarantee a same day pick up. However, the cut of times are:

  • If a driver is required to hand unload your freight you may be charged a hand unload fee.
  • If a driver must use a toll to deliver your freight these will be passed on.
