Step 1: Create a shipping zone for flat-rate postcode list

1. Navigate to Settings -> Shipping and Delivery
2. Click “Manage rates” under the “Shipping” heading
3. Click “Create shipping zone"
4. Give it a name, something like “Flat rate zone"
5. Click “Add countries/regions"
6. Select Australia
7. Instead of selecting the whole country, click “Add zip/postal codes"
8. Enter your flat rate postcodes (one per line, or comma separated)
9. Click “Done”

Step 2: Add the rate to the “flat rate zone”

1. In your new shipping zone, click “Add rate"
2. Select “Set up your own rates"
3. Enter a name (eg: “Local Delivery”)
4. Set your flat rate price
5. Configure any conditions (minimum order value, weight limits, etc.)
6. Click “Done"

Step 3: Create a shipping zone for “Everywhere else”

1. Navigate to Settings -> Shipping and Delivery
2. Click “Manage rates” under the “Shipping” heading
3. Click “Create shipping zone"
4. Give it a name, something like “Everywhere else"
5. Click “Add countries/regions"
6. Select “Australia"
7. Don’t add specific postcodes, as this will catch everything not in your first zone
8. Click “Done"

Step 4: Add the C&F carrier service to the “Everywhere else” zone

1. Navigate to your “Everywhere else” shipping zone
2. Click “Add rate” and select “Use carrier or app to calculate rates"
3. Select the “Couriers and Freight” app.
4. Set any markup or handling fees that you want to apply
5. Click “Done"
